Miles 1740.5 | An oppressively hot 91°F day through Vermont slowed the pace, but frequent water sources made the heat manageable. Multiple long breaks led to an early stop at Podunk Brook, camping near familiar faces and keeping the day simple and steady.

It was 91F out the next day. Deadly heat. Thankfully, Vermont had more water sources than most of the previous three states had. We took many breaks and ended up camping right near KStar and Ringo that night!
